Like many of you, I am a passionate music lover. For years, I have been digitizing my collection of CDs and vinyl records—an invaluable archive made up largely of artists who are not widely known to the public. I have always used iTunes to organize and manage my music library, and I still remember the days when CoverFlow existed, before it was acquired by Apple. Browsing through album covers in that way was a unique experience for those who, like me, appreciate the visual artistry of album artwork.

With the discontinuation of iTunes and the rise of Apple Music, which is increasingly focused on streaming, audiophiles and digital collectors have faced many challenges: essential features removed and bugs that made local music management frustrating. This is where the idea of musicCovered was born—a graphical interface that interacts with Apple Music while bringing back an immersive experience, placing music and album covers at the center.

musicCovered is the result of countless hours of work, nights spent writing code and overcoming challenges, always driven by passion. This application is dedicated to digital collectors who meticulously curate their music libraries, to those who love album covers and their artistic expression, and to those who, despite the streaming era, continue to collect CDs, vinyl, and cassettes. Most of all, it is a tribute to the love of music.
